Heard about this very exciting project on NPR this morning: the Atlanta Ballet is collaborating with Antwan "Big Boi" Patton (one half of Outkast) on a new project that fuses hip hop and ballet. It's thrilling to hear the participants talk seriously about the importance of this project having one foot firmly and unequivocally planted in American culture. Oh, and Big Boi is performing live.
